CENTRO is celebrating 50 years of activism, community, and the preservation of the Puerto Rican story and our contributions to history. In the aim of keeping us rooted and in conversation with our stakeholders (students, professors, community leaders, activists, artists and community at large) we would like to welcome you to our Open House on Thursday, September 21st from 3 PM to 7 PM at our Silberman School of Social Work location (119th Street and 3rd Avenue in East Harlem).

Attendees will have the opportunity to welcome Yomaira Figueroa-Vásquez, CENTRO’s new Directora, to our beloved community; and meet CENTRO staff to know more about all the work we do. We’ll end the day with a live performance from members of our community that enrich the Puerto Rican Diaspora, a CENTRO swag give away, delicious food, and more!
